Editorial Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Our Mission

CrazyWick exists to publish honest, independent financial intelligence for retail investors who deserve better than noise. Our editorial mission is built on three principles: accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

Unlike most financial media — which is built around engagement, sponsored content, and page views — CrazyWick measures success by the quality and accuracy of its analysis over time. The documented prediction track record is central to this commitment.

Author and Independence

All content on CrazyWick is researched, written, and published by Manish Khanal, the founder and sole author, unless otherwise explicitly stated. Manish is a self-taught researcher in finance, macroeconomics, and geopolitics based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

CrazyWick maintains complete editorial independence. No individual, company, advertiser, or investor has editorial influence over what is published. As of the current date:

  • We accept no paid placements, sponsored posts, or native advertising.
  • We receive no compensation from financial product providers for coverage.
  • We do not use affiliate marketing links in our analysis or recommendations.
  • No external party reviews or approves content before publication.

If our business model changes in a way that could affect editorial independence, we will disclose it prominently on this page and within affected content.

Research Standards

All published content adheres to the following research standards:

  • Primary sources first. Analysis draws primarily from original sources: company filings, central bank publications, government reports, official data releases, and peer-reviewed research where applicable.
  • Claims are sourced. Significant factual claims are supported by citations or references to their source. Opinion is clearly distinguished from fact.
  • Bias is stated. Predictions and analyses include a declared directional bias (bullish/bearish/neutral) and an invalidation thesis — the conditions under which the analysis would be wrong.
  • Limitations are acknowledged. Where data is incomplete, estimates are used, or significant uncertainty exists, this is stated explicitly.
  • No recycled takes. Content is original analysis, not a repackaging of other outlets' reporting or consensus views.

Prediction Standards

The predictions track record is a core differentiator of CrazyWick. All predictions follow these rules without exception:

  • Every prediction is published with a timestamp, confidence score, and target timeframe.
  • Predictions are never deleted — wrong calls remain on record permanently.
  • Predictions are never retroactively edited to change their meaning after the fact.
  • Each prediction includes an invalidation condition: the specific event or price level that would signal the thesis is wrong.
  • Outcomes are documented honestly — partial hits are not claimed as full wins.

Corrections Policy

We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. If a factual error is discovered in a published article or analysis:

  • The error will be corrected in the article text.
  • A correction notice will be appended to the article noting what was changed and when.
  • For significant errors that materially affect the analysis, a follow-up article may be published.
  • Predictions that were based on incorrect data will be annotated accordingly.

To report an error, contact us at hello@crazywick.com with the subject line "Correction Request" and a description of the error.

Content Categories and Standards

Market Analysis

Must include: asset covered, timeframe, directional bias, key price levels, and invalidation thesis. Clearly labeled as analysis, not advice.

Geopolitical Intelligence

Sourced from verifiable public reporting, official statements, and primary documents. Geopolitical analysis discusses implications for capital flows and markets, not political advocacy.

Trade Journal

Personal trade documentation including real entries, exits, and outcomes. Published for educational transparency. Not to be construed as trade recommendations.

Educational Articles

Long-form content explaining financial concepts, economic frameworks, and market structures. Based on established economic theory and publicly available data.

Prohibited Content

CrazyWick will never publish:

  • Pump-and-dump promotion or coordinated price manipulation content.
  • Paid coverage presented as independent analysis.
  • Specific buy/sell price recommendations presented as personalized advice.
  • Content designed to create fear, uncertainty, or doubt (FUD) for financial gain.
  • Fabricated or unverifiable data presented as fact.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome critical feedback, disagreement, and suggestions for topics to cover. If you believe content fails to meet these standards or contains errors, reach out:
